Bengaluru, Jan. 10: Makara Sankranti and Vaikuntha Ekadashi were celebrated herein Jaigopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ramamurthy Nagar. Major Charan Chinnappa, serving in the Indian Army graced the program. School Principal Smt. Gauri Senthil and Vice Principal Smt. Anita performed Gopuja along with the guests. Later worshiped Sri Venkateswara Swami by chanting mantras. Group song and dance programs were performed. All the children shared the sesame jaggery. The students told the importance of Vaikuntha Ekadashi, the specialty of Sankranti and the importance of the ritual.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜ. 10: ಜೈಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಗರೋಡಿಯಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ರಾಮಮೂರ್ತಿನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕರ ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ವೈಕುಂಠ ಏಕಾದಶಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸೇನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮೇಜರ್ ಚರಣ್ ಚಿನ್ನಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅತಿಥಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಗೌರಿ ಸೆಂಥಿಲ್ ಅವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅನಿತಾ ಅವರು ಗೋಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ಶ್ರೀ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ವರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗೆ ಮಂತ್ರ ಘೋಷಗಳಿಂದ ಪೂಜೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಸಮೂಹ ಗೀತೆ, ನೃತ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಲ್ಲ ಎಳ್ಳು ಬೆಲ್ಲ ಹಂಚಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಂಕ್ರಾತಿಯ ವಿಶೇಷತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ವೈಕುಂಠ ಏಕಾದಶಿಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
