Bengaluru, Aug. 12: Dr. S. R. Ranganath and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai’s birth anniversary was celebrated as part of National Library Day herein Jai Gopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ramamurthy Nagar. Students spoke about the contributions of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. And spoke about the importance of National Library Day. An album prepared by the children was unveiled. The album contains children’s art activities, creative writings, stories, paintings, pencil sketches, which are named after Indian rivers like Ganga, Yamuna, Brahmaputra, Krishna, Kaveri, Sindhu, Narmada, Godavari, Mahanadi, and Indus.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಆ. 12: ಜೈ ಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಗರೋಡಿಯಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ರಾಮಮೂರ್ತಿನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ದಿನದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಡಾ. ಎಸ್. ಆರ್. ರಂಗನಾಥ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಡಾ. ವಿಕ್ರಮ್ ಸಾರಾಭಾಯ್ ಅವರ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಡಾ. ವಿಕ್ರಮ್ ಸಾರಾಭಾಯಿ ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದ ಅಲ್ಬಂ ಅನ್ನು ಅನಾವರಣಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಲಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು, ಸೃಜನಾತ್ಮಕ ಬರವಣಿಗೆಗಳು, ಕಥೆಗಳು, ವರ್ಣಚಿತ್ರಗಳು, ಪೆನ್ಸಿಲ್ ಸ್ಕೆಚ್ ಗಳಿದ್ದು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಭಾರತದ ನದಿಗಳಾದ ಗಂಗಾ, ಯಮುನಾ, ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಪುತ್ರ, ಕೃಷ್ಣಾ, ಕಾವೇರಿ, ಸಿಂಧು, ನರ್ಮದಾ, ಗೋದಾವರಿ, ಮಹಾನದಿ, ಹಾಗೂ ಇಂಡಸ್ ಇವುಗಳ ಹೆಸರನ್ನಡಲಾದ ಅಲ್ಬಮ್ ಇದಾಗಿದೆ.
