Bengaluru: Recently, 9th International Day of Yoga was celebrated herein Jaigopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra (JGRVK), Ramamurthy Nagar.

The IDY was celebrated at JGRVK on 21st June 2023 to raise awareness about the benefits of practicing yoga and to encourage people to adopt a healthy life style. The program was graced by the Dr Vasantha Lakshmi, GM, operations (Samvit R F) and Sri Rajesh Deshmukh (Administrator RVK CBSE Schools Bangalore) along with the Principal, Staff and Students. The event began with the pushparchana followed by welcome address and invocation.The importance of Yoga Day was highlighted by Dhrithi Jade.The top performers of IDY protocol were honoured by the Chief guest & the Guest of honour. The honourable chief guest Smt (Dr.) Vasantha Lakshmi R ji addressed the participants on the importance of yoga practices in our life.
She also encouraged students to practice regular yoga to remain fit and improve concentration. The Guest also appreciated and encouraged the Mathru Bharathi mathrus who joined the IDY for being a part of our jgrvk parivar. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by Gurupriya Samiksha of Class 10 followed by the Shanthi mantra. International Yoga Day celebrations ended with a huge success under the supervision of our Pradhanacharya, Smt Dr. Usha Villath mataji. Overall Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and Zeal.

Smt Dr Vasantha Lakshmi R ji (General Manager (Operations), Samvit Research Foundation) graced the occasion as the chief guest and Sri Rajesh Deshmukh ji (Administrator, RVK Schools) was the guest of honor. The event began with the pushparchana followed by welcoming the gathering by Vaishnavi M of class 9. The students welcomed the gathering with an invocation song. Dhriti Jade of Class 10 gave her insights on the importance of yoga day and yoga practices in our life. The top performers of the IDY Protocol, 2023 were acknowledged by the chief guest and guest of honor considering them as the pride of our school. Next, IDY sankalpa was lead by Lekhana M of class 10 for creating, setting, and manifesting an intention of the day.
