Bengaluru, Dec. 6: A session on National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 was held herein Jaigopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ramamurthy Nagar.
Smt. Kamala, Head of the Mathematics Department, briefed the staff on the evolution of education policies since 1968, 1986 and the revised 1992 policy that led to NEP 2020. She highlighted the key reforms of NEP 2020, which include 5+3+3+4 curriculum structure, competency-based teaching and learning, holistic and multidisciplinary approaches, Fundamental Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), assessment reforms and professional standards expected of teachers.
The session emphasised the role of teachers as mentors, experienced facilitators of learning and contributors to continuous school improvement. It concluded with a Google Form to be completed by all teaching staff as part of the feedback and reflection on the session.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಡಿ. 6: ಜೈಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಗರೋಡಿಯಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ರಾಮಮೂರ್ತಿನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ (ಎನ್ಇಪಿ) 2020 ಕುರಿತು ಅಧಿವೇಶನವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಗಣಿತ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕಮಲಾ, 1968, 1986 ರಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿಗಳ ವಿಕಸನ ಮತ್ತು ಎನ್ಇಪಿ 2020ಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾದ ಪರಿಷ್ಕೃತ 1992 ನೀತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ಎನ್ಇಪಿ 2020ರ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸುಧಾರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು, ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ 5+3+3+4 ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ರಚನೆ, ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಬೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಿಕೆ, ಸಮಗ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಬಹುಶಿಸ್ತೀಯ ವಿಧಾನಗಳು, ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಸಾಕ್ಷರತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಖ್ಯಾಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ (FLN), ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಸುಧಾರಣೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಂದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾದ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳು ಸೇರಿವೆ.ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಕರು, ಅನುಭವಿ ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಸುಗಮಕಾರರು ಮತ್ತು ನಿರಂತರ ಶಾಲಾ ಸುಧಾರಣೆಗೆ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡುವವರ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಅಧಿವೇಶನವು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳಿತು. ಅಧಿವೇಶನದ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೋಧನಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕಾದ Google ಫಾರ್ಮ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು.
