Bengaluru, Feb. 11: Rashtrotsava celebrations were held herein Jaigopal Garodiya Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ramamurthy Nagar with the theme ‘Kamadhenu’ in honour of Mother Cow. Smt. Dr. Shweta M. P., Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, graced the programme. The theme was inaugurated by dignitaries performing Cow Puja. The chief guest addressed the parents on the use of mobile phones and raised the thought-provoking question, “Do mobiles really connect us?” She requested that instead of scolding or punishing children for their mobile usage, parents should first reduce their screen time. She encouraged parents to engage children in games, engage in meaningful conversations, encourage them to ask questions and give them the freedom to explore their creativity. Children may not remember the gift of PlayStation; but they will always remember the moments filled with laughter, emotions and togetherness. She opined that what we really need is not mobile connectivity, but human connectivity. The importance of Mother Cow was presented in the name of Sri Raghavendra Swamy. The importance of cow products and the contribution of Rashtrotthana Gaushala were showcased by the students of class 1 through songs and dance performances.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಫೆ. 11: ಜೈಗೋಪಾಲ್ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ರಾಮಮೂರ್ತಿನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋಮಾತೆಯ ಗೌರವಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ʼಕಾಮಧೇನುʼ ಎಂಬ ಥೀಮ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಡಾ. ಶ್ವೇತಾ ಎಂ.ಪಿ., ಸಲಹೆಗಾರ ಪ್ರಸೂತಿ ತಜ್ಞೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ತ್ರೀರೋಗತಜ್ಞೆ, ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಗಣ್ಯರು ಗೋ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಈ ಥೀಮ್ಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್ಗಳ ಬಳಕೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಪೋಷಕರನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “ಮೊಬೈಲ್ಗಳು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುತ್ತವೆಯೇ?” ಚಿಂತನಶೀಲ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿದರು. ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಬಳಕೆಗಾಗಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕಸಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಅಥವಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಬದಲು, ಪೋಷಕರು ಮೊದಲು ತಮ್ಮ ಪರದೆಯ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ವಿನಂತಿಸಿದರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಆಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು, ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು, ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆಯನ್ನು ಅನ್ವೇಷಿಸಲು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲು ಅವರು ಪೋಷಕರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಪ್ಲೇಸ್ಟೇಷನ್ನ ಉಡುಗೊರೆಯನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಿರಬಹುದು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನಗು, ಭಾವನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವುದು ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಸಂಪರ್ಕವಲ್ಲ, ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಪಟ್ಟರು. ಗೋಮಾತೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಗವ್ಯೋತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಗೋಶಾಲೆಯ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು 1 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಡುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
