Bengaluru, Feb. 12: Jaigopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ramamurthy Nagar organized Rashtrotsava for U KG students under the theme ‘Nadalhari’. Sri Bharat Ram, Architect, Ecolab Digital Centre, was the chief guest for the event. The little ones of UKG presented the seven vowels – Sa, Ri, Ga, Ma, Pa, Da, Ni – beautifully depicting the birth of vowels and their deep significance in our daily lives. Each vowel is thoughtfully connected to colours, deities and animals, reflecting the deep spiritual and cultural roots of Indian music. In his address, the chief guest shared that the students are the future of India – entrepreneurs, engineers, doctors and leaders of tomorrow. He spoke about the influence of Western culture on Indian culture and appreciated how the teachers of JGRVK are beautifully inculcating traditional values along with modern education. He stressed that the true wealth of a nation lies not only in its economic strength, but in the richness of its culture. History speaks of the depth of music that evokes childhood memories and connects generations. “There is no learning without music. Music is learning; music is emotion,” he opined. He further explained that in music, rhythm (laya) is the father and shruti (pitch) is the mother. He explained that music enhances concentration and activates our jnanendriyas (senses), nourishing both the mind and the soul.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಫೆ. 12: ಜೈಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಗರೋಡಿಯಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ರಾಮಮೂರ್ತಿನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುಕೆಜಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ʼನಾದಲಹರಿʼ ವಿಷಯದಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಇಕೋಲ್ಯಾಬ್ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್ನ ವಾಸ್ತುಶಿಲ್ಪಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಭರತ್ ರಾಮ್ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಯುಕೆಜಿಯ ಪುಟ್ಟ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸಪ್ತ ಸ್ವರಗಳನ್ನು – ಸ, ರಿ, ಗ, ಮ, ಪ, ದ, ನಿ – ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಸ್ವರಗಳ ಜನನ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳ ಆಳವಾದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಚಿತ್ರಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಸ್ವರವು ಬಣ್ಣಗಳು, ದೇವತೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚಿಂತನಶೀಲವಾಗಿ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಗೀತದ ಆಳವಾದ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಬೇರುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾರತದ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ – ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು, ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ಗಳು, ವೈದ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ನಾಳಿನ ನಾಯಕರು ಎಂದು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಾಶ್ಚಿಮಾತ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಪ್ರಭಾವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಜೆಜಿಆರ್ವಿಕೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಆಧುನಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು. ಒಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ನಿಜವಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತಿಕೆ ಕೇವಲ ಅದರ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಬಲದಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಅದರ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಬಾಲ್ಯದ ನೆನಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಾಕುವ ಮತ್ತು ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುವ ಸಂಗೀತದ ಆಳದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಇತಿಹಾಸವು ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ. “ಸಂಗೀತವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಸಂಗೀತವೇ ಕಲಿಕೆ; ಸಂಗೀತವೇ ಭಾವನೆ” ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು. ಸಂಗೀತದಲ್ಲಿ, ಲಯ (ಲಯ) ತಂದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರುತಿ (ಪಿಚ್) ತಾಯಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಸಂಗೀತವು ಏಕಾಗ್ರತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳನ್ನು (ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳನ್ನು) ಸಕ್ರಿಯಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮತ್ತು ಆತ್ಮ ಎರಡನ್ನೂ ಪೋಷಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
