Bengaluru, Sept. 5: Jaigopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ramamurthy Nagar celebrated Teachers Day by paying our respects to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The Chief Guest was Smt. Sharmila Chaudhary, Retired Senior Director of CMR NPS and EKYA Schools. The Guest of Honour was Shri Gajanan Londe Ji, Head of Programme Office, National Curriculum and Textbook Committee (NSTC), NCERT, and Smt. Prema Surender Pradhanacharya. In his keynote address, Sri Gajanan Londe emphasized the child-centric nature of NEP 2020, inspired by Sri Kasturi Rangan. He stressed that education should foster curiosity and be rooted in the environment of the learner and not just dependent on textbooks. A teacher from Ladakh shared how he requested a story on ice or snow in NCERT. He highlighted the need for local, contextual content. He spoke about his visit to the Vigyan Ashram in Pune, where students who failed in Class 10 undergo a year-long entrepreneurship course based entirely on “nature”, which promotes life-centred, hands-on learning. “For them, the curriculum is nature”. He encouraged teachers to keep a weekly reflective diary of what they learn and experience, calling it a teacher’s mirror for self-growth. And he also highlighted RVK students’ startups and global collaborations as examples of how holistic education drives innovation. He proposed a 25-year focused curriculum on “Swadeshi Samarthya” for students of Amrit Kaal, in line with the dream of a self-reliant India by 2047. “Every child has a unique and distinct indigenous mind. Our teaching methodology should evolve every day to truly bring about a difference in their lives,” he stressed. A special album on “RP @ 60 – Panchaparivartan and Civil Etiquette” was released, with awards given to the best entries. A mesmerizing comedy combining music, dance and theatre – Ravanasya Sharanagathih, celebrating the Guru-Shishya bond, brought to life the story of Lakhadish Ravana and Guru Shukracharya. The Pradhanacharya, who said that teachers are masters of all trades, should make children happy to come to school, because true growth comes with happiness. “Let children think in our own way, be role models. Be responsible.”, opined. Teachers were honoured with a ‘bouquet of knowledge’.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಸೆ. 5: ಜೈಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಗರೋಡಿಯಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ರಾಮಮೂರ್ತಿನಗರದಲ್ಲಿಡಾ. ಸರ್ವಪಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಧಾಕೃಷ್ಣನ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಣಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶರ್ಮಿಳಾ ಚೌಧರಿ, CMR NPS ಮತ್ತು EKYA ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಅತಿಥಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಜಾನನ್ ಲೊಂಡೆ ಜಿ, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಕಚೇರಿಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಪಠ್ಯಪುಸ್ತಕ ಸಮಿತಿ (NSTC), NCERT, ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರೇಮಾ ಸುರೇಂದರ್ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಇವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಗಜಾನನ್ ಲೋಂಢೆ ಅವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಸ್ತೂರಿ ರಂಗನ್ ಅವರಿಂದ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ಪಡೆದ NEP 2020 ರ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕೇಂದ್ರಿತ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳಿದರು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವು ಕುತೂಹಲವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಕೇವಲ ಪಠ್ಯಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವಲಂಬಿತವಾಗಿರದೇ ಕಲಿಯುವವರ ಪರಿಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೂರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಲಡಾಖ್ನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರೊಬ್ಬರು NCERTಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಜುಗಡ್ಡೆ ಅಥವಾ ಹಿಮದ ಕುರಿತು ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ, ಸಂದರ್ಭೋಚಿತ ವಿಷಯದ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಪುಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಆಶ್ರಮ ಭೇಟಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ 10ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುತ್ತೀರ್ಣರಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ “ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ” ಆಧಾರಿತ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಉದ್ಯಮಶೀಲತಾ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಇದು ಜೀವನ ಕೇಂದ್ರಿತ, ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಕಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. “ಅವರಿಗೆ, ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ”. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ತಾವು ಕಲಿಯುವ ಮತ್ತು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಾರಕ್ಕೊಮ್ಮೆ ಚಿಂತನಶೀಲ ದಿನಚರಿಯನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು, ಅದನ್ನು ಸ್ವಯಂ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಕನ್ನಡಿ ಎಂದು ಕರೆದರು. ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಗ್ರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವು ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡುವ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳಾಗಿ RVK ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸ್ಟಾರ್ಟ್ಅಪ್ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಸಹಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಹೈಲೈಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅಮೃತ್ ಕಾಲದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ 2047ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬಿ ಭಾರತದ ಕನಸಿಗೆ ಹೊಂದಿಕೆಯಾಗುವ “ಸ್ವದೇಶಿ ಸಮರ್ಥ್ಯ” ಕುರಿತು 25 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಕೃತ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸಿದರು. “ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮಗುವೂ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಭಿನ್ನವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಬೋಧನಾ ವಿಧಾನವು ಅವರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯನ್ನು ತರಲು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ವಿಕಸನಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. “RP@60 – ಪಂಚಪರಿವರ್ತನ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಗರಿಕ ಶಿಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ” ಕುರಿತು ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಲ್ಬಮ್ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು, ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ನಮೂದುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಂಗೀತ, ನೃತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ರಂಗಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸುವ ಮೋಡಿಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಸ್ಯಪ್ರಸಂಗ – ರಾವಣಸ್ಯ ಶರಣಾಗತಿಃ, ಗುರು-ಶಿಷ್ಯ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುವ ಲಖದೀಶ ರಾವಣ ಮತ್ತು ಗುರು ಶುಕ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಜೀವಂತಗೊಳಿಸಿತು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವೃತ್ತಿಗಳ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ಸ್ ಎಂದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಬರಲು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಬೇಕು, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಜವಾದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. “ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಚಿಸಲಿ, ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿರಿ. ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತರಾಗಿರಿ.” ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಿಸಿದರು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ‘ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಪುಷ್ಪಗುಚ್ಛ’ವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
