Bengaluru, Aug. 3: Jaigopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ramamurthy Nagar A road safety awareness programme was conducted for the students of class IX and X under the SARS programme in association with the traffic police.
- Sri Veerendra Kumar H.P. and other traffic officers led the programme and explained the importance of road safety rules, traffic signs and responsible road behaviour.
- The students learnt about the use of ISI-marked helmets, traffic signals, lane discipline, zebra crossings and legal age for driving.
- The officers also highlighted the traffic challenges of Bengaluru, road accident prevention and penalties for traffic violations.
- ASI Sri Mukundaiah spoke about the importance of Good Samaritan law and helping accident victims by calling the emergency helpline 112.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಆ. 3: ಜೈಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಗರೋಡಿಯಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ರಾಮಮೂರ್ತಿ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚಾರ ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ SARS ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂಬತ್ತನೇ ಮತ್ತು ಹತ್ತನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ರಸ್ತೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ಶ್ರೀ ವೀರೇಂದ್ರ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಹೆಚ್.ಪಿ. ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಸಂಚಾರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ನೇತೃತ್ವ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಅವರು ರಸ್ತೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ನಿಯಮಗಳು, ಸಂಚಾರ ಚಿಹ್ನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ರಸ್ತೆ ನಡವಳಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
- ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಐಎಸ್ಐ ಗುರುತು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್ಗಳ ಬಳಕೆ, ಸಂಚಾರ ಸಂಕೇತಗಳು, ಲೇನ್ ಶಿಸ್ತು, ಜೀಬ್ರಾ ಕ್ರಾಸಿಂಗ್ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಚಾಲನೆಗೆ ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ಧ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು.
- ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸಂಚಾರ ಸವಾಲುಗಳು, ರಸ್ತೆ ಅಪಘಾತ ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟುವಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಚಾರ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ದಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು.
- ಎಎಸ್ಐ ಶ್ರೀ ಮುಕುಂದಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ತುರ್ತು ಸಹಾಯವಾಣಿ 112ಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಗುಡ್ ಸಮರಿಟನ್ ಕಾನೂನು ಮತ್ತು ಅಪಘಾತ ಸಂತ್ರಸ್ತರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
