Bengaluru, Aug. 15: The 80th Independence Day was celebrated at Jaigopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ramamurthy Nagar.
- Former Indian Army officer and leadership and strategic management expert Colonel Manoj Gupta (Retd) was the Chief Guest.
- NCC cadets welcomed the chief guest with a slow procession, followed by Athi Pranam, Vande Mataram, hoisting of the flag and the national anthem.
- Four houses, Vikramashila, Takshashila, Kanchi and Nalanda, performed a charming march past with the NCC and the school band.
- The programme included a skit on the Kargil War, felicitation of meritorious students of class X, patriotic dances and a speech on Sangolli Rayanna and Sri Aurobindo.
- A special dance presentation, “National Anthem”, paid tribute to the 150 years of Vande Mataram.
The celebrations included the prize distribution of the Grandparents’ Sports Festival, a spectacular pyramid display by classes VI-X and felicitation of the RDC participants who represented the school at the Republic Day in Delhi. Addressing the gathering, the chief guest highlighted five key commitments: maintaining cleanliness, respecting every Indian, keeping body and mind healthy, performing every duty with dedication and enthusiasm and respecting all those who serve the society.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಆ. 15: ಜೈಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಗರೋಡಿಯಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ರಾಮಮೂರ್ತಿ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ 80ನೇ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಜಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸೇನಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯತಂತ್ರದ ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ತಜ್ಞ ಕರ್ನಲ್ ಮನೋಜ್ ಗುಪ್ತಾ (ನಿವೃತ್ತ) ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
- ಎನ್ಸಿಸಿ ಕೆಡೆಟ್ಗಳು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಧಾನಗತಿಯ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ, ನಂತರ ಅತಿಥಿ ಪ್ರಣಾಮ್, ವಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂ, ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗೀತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು.
- ವಿಕ್ರಮಶಿಲಾ, ತಕ್ಷಶಿಲಾ, ಕಾಂಚಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಳಂದ ಎಂಬ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸದನಗಳು NCC ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಲಾ ಬ್ಯಾಂಡ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ ಪಾಸ್ಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದವು.
- ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ಯುದ್ಧದ ಕಿರುನಾಟಕ, ಹತ್ತನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾನ್ವಿತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸನ್ಮಾನ, ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ನೃತ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ರಾಯಣ್ಣ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಅರಬಿಂದೋ ಅವರ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಭಾಷಣವಿತ್ತು.
- ವಿಶೇಷ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿ, “ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಗೀತೆ”, ವಂದೇ ಮಾತರಂನ 150 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಪರಂಪರೆಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿತು.
- ಆಚರಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಜ್ಜ-ಅಜ್ಜಿಯರ ಕ್ರೀಡೋತ್ಸವ ಬಹುಮಾನ ವಿತರಣೆ, VI-X ತರಗತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಪಿರಮಿಡ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸಿದ RDC ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವವರ ಸನ್ಮಾನವೂ ಸೇರಿತ್ತು.
ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು, ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಭಾರತೀಯರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವುದು, ದೇಹ ಮತ್ತು ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಆರೋಗ್ಯವಾಗಿಡುವುದು, ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವುದು – ಈ ಐದು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಬದ್ಧತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು.
