Bengaluru, Aug. 24: A virtual session on Major Dhyan Chand was held for the staff of Jaigopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra- Ramamurthynagar. The meeting was convened by the convenor of the meeting, Sri N. Venkatesh Hegde, Family Enlightener of Karnataka South Province, who spoke about the importance of “Koodi Haadi Naliyona, Mana Manegala Beseyona” and stressed the importance of coming together, celebrating together and strengthening the bond between families and society. He highlighted the life and invaluable contribution of hockey wizard Major Dhyan Chand and shared information about his achievements. He suggested that physical education teachers should talk about Major Dhyan Chand and his contribution to Indian hockey during PE sessions and address the students in the school assembly. He narrated an anecdote related to Major Dhyan Chand and Adolf Hitler.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಆ. 24: ಜೈಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಗರೋಡಿಯಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ- ರಾಮಮೂರ್ತಿನಗರದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಾಗಿ ಮೇಜರ್ ಧ್ಯಾನ್ ಚಂದ್ ಅವರ ಕುರಿತಾದ ವರ್ಚುವಲ್ ಅಧಿವೇಶನ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಪ್ರಾಂತದ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಪ್ರಬೋಧಿನಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ನಾ. ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ ಸಂಯೋಜಕ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿ, “ಕೂಡಿ ಹಾಡಿ ನಲಿಯೋಣ, ಮನ ಮನೆಗಳ ಬೆಸೆಯೋಣ”ದ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸೇರುವುದು, ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಆಚರಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜದ ನಡುವಿನ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಹಾಕಿ ಮಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಮೇಜರ್ ಧ್ಯಾನ್ ಚಂದ್ ಅವರ ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮೇಜರ್ ಧ್ಯಾನ್ ಚಂದ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ PE ಅವಧಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಹಾಕಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಲಾ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು. ಮೇಜರ್ ಧ್ಯಾನ್ ಚಂದ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಡಾಲ್ಫ್ ಹಿಟ್ಲರ್ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಒಂದು ಉಪಾಖ್ಯಾನವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
