Bengaluru, Oct 1: The school organised a highly useful Faculty Development Program (FDP) at Jaigopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ramamurthy Nagar, under the guidance of the school’s counsellor, Smt. Kavya Manoj.
The program focused on the theme: “Writing as a Tool for Learning: Journaling, Summarising, and Explaining.”
- The session began with an engaging activity that blended the famous background music of the Mahabharata, Tabla playing, and the fragrance of incense. The resource person utilised this activity to help participants connect more effectively with the core concepts.

- Journaling – Self-reflection: Pausing, contemplating, and learning from our experiences.
- Summarising – What is most important? Identifying and recording the essence of the subject matter being learned.
- Explaining – Is it possible for others to follow my train of thought? Clearly organizing and expressing our ideas so that others can understand and follow our line of reasoning.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಅ. 1: ಜೈಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಗರೋಡಿಯಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ- ರಾಮಮೂರ್ತಿ ನಗರದ ಸಮಾಲೋಚಕಿ (Counsellor) ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕಾವ್ಯ ಮನೋಜ್ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ, “ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಸಾಧನವಾಗಿ ಬರವಣಿಗೆ: ದಿನಚರಿ ಬರವಣಿಗೆ (Journaling), ಸಾರಾಂಶೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ವಿವರಿಸುವಿಕೆ” ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತವಾದ ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು (FDP) ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
- ಅಧಿವೇಶನವು ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡಿತು; ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾಭಾರತದ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಸಂಗೀತದ ಗಾಯನ, ತಬಲಾ ವಾದನ ಮತ್ತು ಧೂಪದ ಸುವಾಸನೆಯು ಸಮ್ಮಿಳಿತಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದವು. ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವವರು ಈ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಬೆರೆಯಲು ಸಹಾಯವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯು ಈ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.

- ದಿನಚರಿ ಬರವಣಿಗೆ (Journaling) – ಆತ್ಮಾವಲೋಕನ: ಕ್ಷಣಕಾಲ ನಿಂತು, ಚಿಂತಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಅನುಭವಗಳಿಂದ ಕಲಿಯುವುದು.
- ಸಾರಾಂಶೀಕರಣ – ಯಾವುದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮುಖ್ಯ? ನಾವು ಕಲಿಯುವ ವಿಷಯದ ಸಾರವನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.
- ವಿವರಿಸುವಿಕೆ – ನನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನಾ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೇ? ನಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಸಂಘಟಿಸಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುವುದು, ಇದರಿಂದ ಇತರರು ನಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಮತ್ತು ಅನುಸರಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
