Bengaluru, Oct. 2: Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti were celebrated at Jaigopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Ramamurthy Nagar.
- Smt. Leena spoke about Lal Bahadur Shastri and his inspiring values, while Smt. Banaja highlighted Mahatma Gandhi’s ideals, including Swachh Bharat (Clean India), self-reliance, and Swadeshi (indigenous self-reliance).
- The event also marked the conclusion of the ‘Swadeshi Saptaha – Vocal for Local’ campaign.
- As part of the celebrations, various activities were organized for the students, including dumb charades, mime, patriotic song singing, a pledge-taking ceremony, slogan writing, a quiz, and a panel discussion.
- In her address, Principal Smt. Prema Surendar commended the courage and dedication to duty displayed by Captain Smith Machhar during a recent in-flight emergency. She also recalled the inspiring story of Neerja Bhanot as an example of courage and selfless service.
- The program concluded with the presentation of devotional bhajans such as ‘Vaishnava Jana to’, ‘Raghupati Raghava Raja Ram’, and ‘Achyutam Keshavam’ by the music department.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಅ. 2: ಜೈಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಗರೋಡಿಯಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ – ರಾಮಮೂರ್ತಿ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಜಯಂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಲಾಲ್ ಬಹದ್ದೂರ್ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲೀನಾ ಅವರು ಲಾಲ್ ಬಹದ್ದೂರ್ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರೆ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಬನಜಾ ಅವರು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಭಾರತ, ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವದೇಶಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿಯವರ ಆದರ್ಶಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು.
- ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ‘ಸ್ವದೇಶಿ ಸಪ್ತಾಹ – ವೋಕಲ್ ಫಾರ್ ಲೋಕಲ್’ (ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ) ಅಭಿಯಾನದ ಸಮಾರೋಪವನ್ನೂ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು.
- ಇದರ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಡಂಬ್ ಚರೇಡ್ಸ್ (ಸನ್ನೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಭಿನಯ), ಮೂಕಾಭಿನಯ (ಮೈಮ್), ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಗೀತೆಗಳ ಗಾಯನ, ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾ ವಿಧಿ ಸ್ವೀಕಾರ, ಘೋಷವಾಕ್ಯ ರಚನೆ, ರಸಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ಯಾನಲ್ ಚರ್ಚೆಯಂತಹ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
- ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರೇಮಾ ಸುರೇಂದರ್ ಅವರು ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ವಿಮಾನಯಾನದ ವೇಳೆ ಉಂಟಾದ ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಯಾಪ್ಟನ್ ಸ್ಮಿತ್ ಮಚ್ಛಾರ್ ತೋರಿದ ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ತವ್ಯನಿಷ್ಠೆಯನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಸೇವೆಯ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯಾಗಿ ನೀರ್ಜಾ ಭನೋಟ್ ಅವರ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು.
- ಸಂಗೀತ ವಿಭಾಗದವರಿಂದ ‘ವೈಷ್ಣವ ಜನ ತೋ’, ‘ರಘುಪತಿ ರಾಘವ ರಾಜಾ ರಾಮ್’ ಮತ್ತು ‘ಅಚ್ಯುತಂ ಕೇಶವಂ’ ಮುಂತಾದ ಭಕ್ತಿಪೂರ್ಣ ಭಜನೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸಮಾಪ್ತಿಯಾಯಿತು.
