Bengaluru, Aug. 12: Vikram Sarabhai Jayanti and National Library Day were celebrated at Jaigopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – JGRVK in Ramamurthy Nagar.
- Dharvik of class V spoke about the contributions and achievements of the ‘Father of the Indian Space Programme’ Dr. Vikram Sarabhai.
- Anian of class V highlighted the importance of reading books and the important role that school libraries play in the lives of students. He also spoke about Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, the “Father of Library Science in India”.
The students inaugurated the articles showcasing the rich heritage and cultural significance of various places in Karnataka along with Sri Ravi Shankar and Smt. Prema Surender Pradhanacharya of Sringeri Shankara Math, the coordinators.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಆ. 12: ಜೈಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಗರೋಡಿಯಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ – ರಾಮಮೂರ್ತಿ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೆಜಿಆರ್ವಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಕ್ರಮ್ ಸಾರಾಭಾಯಿ ಜಯಂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ಐದನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಧಾರ್ವಿಕ್ “ಭಾರತೀಯ ಬಾಹ್ಯಾಕಾಶ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪಿತಾಮಹ” ಡಾ. ವಿಕ್ರಮ್ ಸಾರಾಭಾಯಿ ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧನೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು.
- ಐದನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಎನಿಯನ್ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಓದುವ ಮಹತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯವು ವಹಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದನು. ಹಾಗೂ “ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಪಿತಾಮಹ” ಡಾ. ಎಸ್. ಆರ್. ರಂಗನಾಥನ್ ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಪರಂಪರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುವ ಲೇಖನಗಳ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಶೃಂಗೇರಿ ಶಂಕರ ಮಠದ ಶ್ರೀ ರವಿಶಂಕರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರೇಮಾ ಸುರೇಂದರ್ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರು, ಸಂಯೋಜಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.
